SOME CLUB HISTORY

The Secret Harbour Junior Football Club is growing at a great rate of knots. The SHJFC was founded in 2004, the result of just a handful of very keen parents with a passion for footy (the real Aussie kind). After two years of running Auskick for 5 to 8 year olds at the oval and about 40 kids participating in 2002-3 the foundation group decided it was time for a junior footy club in Secret Harbour. As we all know timing, is so important when developing a new venture. The SHJFC's timing was perfect as the Fremantle Football Club, the “Dockers” were looking for new clubs to align themselves with and the SHJFC was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

In 2004 the Club was incorporated and took to the field for the first time with 70 Auskick (5-8 yrs) and a 9’s, 10’s and 11’s teams in “Dockers” jumpers supplied by the Fremantle Football Club as part of their partnership with the SHJFC. In 2005 the club boasted 120 Auskick, two 9’s, a 10’s, two 11’s and a 12’s team, over 220 kids and a fantastic group of very keen parents. We also bought Friday night footy to Secret Harbour with a great Auskick night in August.

2008 club has name change from "Storm" to Secret Harbour Dockers solidifying the partnership agreement with the Fremantle Dockers

2010 the club will field teams from 5 years to 17's.

13's GREEN WIN 2009 PLATE GRAND FINAL

Well done Secret Harbour Dockers 13's Green team winning the plate grand final by 3 goals 7.8 to 4.8.
